Bootleg Warning: figma BRS2035 (Max Factory)
These bootleg figures are made illegally based off the original versions without permission from Good Smile Company, and hence we unfortunately cannot offer any support for these bootleg figures. There are also many cases where these bootleg figures still feature the official logos of Good Smile Company or the companies we distribute for, however these logos are also not used with any permission. Always take care when buying goods online.
Below is one example of a bootleg figure, please note that is is only one possibility. You should always be on the look out for anything suspicious.
Also note that there can be bootlegs of various figures, not just the examples shown on this website.
Left: Bootleg Version / Right : Official Version
The cardboard flap on the official version fits neatly over the top of the box, however it only goes about half way along the bootleg version.
The official version has partially transparent protective sheets surrounding the figure and between joints.
The bootleg version is simply wrapped in a kind of cling-wrap.
There is no tape needed to hold the alternate expression parts in place on the official version, it is however used on the bootleg version.
Additionally, the two expression parts are in opposite locations.
The bootleg version differs considerably from the official version.
The official version has a vertical flame, with a transparent effect. The bootleg version has a more horizontal flame and a more cloudy appearance.
The additional hands and stand are all placed together in a single bag for the bootleg version. (The official version has separately sealed sections).
The bootleg version has a greenish color on the edge of the sword. (The official version has a black/brown color.)
